How to make the application update in the Desktop Manager.

I might be doing it wrong, but i am a complete noob to BlackBerry/JDE/Java development.

Here is my process for updating the application on the device (it's already installed there).

1.  Build the app and generate .ALX file

2.  Copy the .COD and .ALX file into a staging directory.

3.  Fire up the Desktop Manager.   Go into Application Loader.

4.  Even the version I am trying to send to the BlackBerry is newer (e.g. has a higher number), the Action listed is None.

What am I doing wrong?  How can I make the application update?

Maybe check the name of the module, if it is different then it won't update
