How to set App name in Japanese ?

Hi,

Currently I am trying to set app name using  net.rim.blackberry.api.homescreen.HomeScreen.setName("これはある");

but it throws exception illegalargumentexception.

Can any one provide the solution ?

I am using Blackberrey JDE 5.0

Thanks,

Re: How to set App name in Japanese ?

I didn't try it but:

String name = new String("これはある", "UTF-8");

HomeScreen.setName(name);

Hope that helps,

E.
