How to start WordToGo programmically?

From my own application, is it possible to launch WordToGo with a specific file which is stored in media card or device memory? I am using JDE 4.2.

        int handle = CodeModuleManager.getModuleHandle("WordToGo" );
        ApplicationDescriptor[] appDes = CodeModuleManager.getApplicationDescriptors(handle);
        String[] args = {"file:///SDCard/myDoc.doc"};
        ApplicationDescriptor startApp = new ApplicationDescriptor(appDes[0], args);
       ApplicationManager.getApplicationManager().runApplication(startApp, true);

I know since JDE 4.3.0, we can use Registry to launch WordToGo with a specific file, but I have to support the devices which OS is running under 4.2.0.

Any suggestion will be very appreciated.

Re: How to start WordToGo programmically?

The JSR 211 Content handler API can be used in BlackBerry handheld software version 4.3.0 and higher.  Word To Go was not included with BlackBerry handheld software version 4.2.0.  You can contact DataViz to determine if they have support for launching their application from a third party application prior to the content handler integration.
