I'm writing a small java application which communicates with a custom web service, and I'd like the app to provide the id +pw of the blackberry user, for identification/authentication. How do I get that information into my java?
Basically, I want a website which requires the user to be identified/authenticated, but I'd like to save the user the extra step of creating a username/id just for my app, since presumably they must already have some sort of username and pw on the device already (this is an enterprise app, so there are IT policies which require all blackberries to have a password associated). How do I access the username + passwordhash, so that I can send this over to the web service I'm writing?
Do I read it from the net.rim.blackberry.api.mail api somewhere?
I'm new to blackberry development, so appreciate your patience. Thanks!

You are going to need to maintain this data specifically within your app.
You can collect it one time (if not already done), and store the info in there persistent store.
