Intercept alarm event

Hi, I am wondering whether if it is possible to intercept an calendar event or alarm event by using GlobalEvent and its listener. For example, if an alert dialog from a calendar event pops up, is it possible to start my application and request foreground? To what extent is this possible?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Intercept alarm event

Were you able to solve this issue?

I want to do the same and trying to find a way to make it work. I tried using PIMListListener but fail to get alarm events through it.
