Thanks for the reply. I have gone through the same and thought of reading a user defined parameter from jad file as I used to do the same in midlets. But the problem is I am using JDE 4.2 and reading jad is supported only in 4.3 and above. Smiley Indifferent

Ways for the conclusion:

  1. cod-file that generates text file on SD-card or in Persistent store. It runs only once on device autostart.After that remove this module via net.rim.device.api.system.CodeModuleManager class method.
  2. place configuration file on the server and access this file via http-connection from your application. It may result in OTA charges.

Just select a more convenient way for you.
