Invoke-able applications?

Where can I find a list of applications that are invokeable? Also, is it possible to invoke a non-bb application (3rd party app)?

Check constants of

net.rim.blackberry.api.invoke.Invoke

class from relevant JDE/RIM API.

Every constant represents an application which can be invoked

To invoke 3-rd party apps - those apps have to be prepared for your invokation.

If they do not expect a signal from your application like GlobalEvent they cannot be invoked.

Re: Invoke-able applications?

You can execute a non-BB application using ApplicationManager.runApplication().

See the API docs for ApplicationManager and ApplicationDescriptor.

Re: Invoke-able applications?

Yes, you're right.

I considered the question as "invoke with a particular reason/goal".

For example - invoke an application in a certain state to do a particular thing.

If you need just to launch a third-party application - you can use  runApplication() method.
