Invoke my own media player from browser field

I have an application that includes a browser field. In the browser field, when a user click a link that is a url to a streaming audio/video, how to invoke my own media player to play the audio/vidoe? (instead of invoking the Blackberry media player)

Note that I want to invoke my own media player only from my own app browser field. It should have no impact on how the normal browser invoke media player to play audio/video

Thanks

Re: Invoke my own media player from browser field

It helps if you have encapsulated all the things like httpconnection in your own classes. In any case, it

should throw a RenderingException at which point, if not before LOL, you can pass the connection to your own

handlers. I'm not sure how gracefully you can integrate with the rest of a page this way but for your

own player to take the screen or push a new screen it isn't that hard. You can add a new field to the screen

with the browser field but I don't think you could put one in the other easily.

Do you have an mpeg applet or something?

Thanks for the suggestion. Would something like content handler also work?

What other media players exist for the 8130?
