Is it possible on blackberry?

hello ,

i have a blackberry curve 9220 with os 7.1. i have been trying various ways, almost all samples available on these forums to get user location in my app. have tried java sdk , webworks sdk but its impossible to get any location fixes..

have also tried to point the browser to pages like

html5demos/geo which give html5 geolocation, but still nothing.

location is enabled in the device settings and the browser , also javascrit is enabled too.

so does anyone know if getting location works on os7 and above? if it does ... will the code work on all os7 devices or is it device specific?
