Is it possible to backup persistent data?

Good day...


We have created an application for blackberry that stores persistent data. However, this data is not included when we tried to backup and restore our blackberry. I have read an article saying that persistent data cannot be backed up (http://www.blackberry.com/developers/javaknowledge/persistent/kpa0203163244.shtml). Is there a way to backup this data?

I think you can safely ignore that article.  As far as I can tell, the KB store that is from is extremely old - it talks about 5800 devices fro example.  If you are looking for KB articles, search the current KB available from a link from here:



RMS databases canh be backed up by the Desktop Manager.  But I think it is the Persistent data you are worried about.
