i just want to know that if i can use awt/swing component with blackberry.i am using eclipse 3.5.
i need this because i want to read pdf file in blackberry.
there is Jpedal library for this,but it uses swing components.
Finally:i want to display pdf file in blackberry programatically.
Pls help me if anyone know it.

You can't use AWT or Swing components on the BlackBerry. Are you trying to use the Java ME version of JPedal? I think there are BlackBerry UI equivalents for most of the AGUI (JSR-209) elements that it uses.

yes i am using javaMe version of jpedal.
so you mean i have to use blackberry ui instead of swing component.

Yes. I'm not familiar with which AWT/Swing components are used by JPedal, so I can't comment on how hard it would be to port it. Almost all AWT components have a BB counterpart, as do a good many Swing components.

Hello @trainee, even am trying to use jpedal for rendering pdf files, but stuck because of usage of awt components in the source. Please let me know if you get any solution, as finding BB equivalents for all awt components and checking their compatibility would take more effort. Thanks in advance.
