Is there a way to check user password policy?

Hi there,

 

Well, as you know, we can check if password is enable or disable, what I am trying to do is if user does not set password policy, I want to force user to set password with some criteria. maxlength, combination of number and letter, etc.

 

Is this possible?

no. maybe using the BES, but no API for it on the device.

Thanks simon,

 

when I try to do this on Iphone, it is possible to download a password policy to force user set password.

 

I am not sure if there is some workround on BB handheld.

 

any advise would be appreciated.
