Is there a way to register a filter for ALL URL's using the HttpFilterRegistry?

Environment

Blackberry Simulator-> Blackberry 8300 smartphone(EDGE) v4.5.0.44 (JDE 4.5)

MDS Simulator-> Version contained with JDE 4.5

 Issue: I am currently trying to filter all HTTP requests from the device. I have attempted to use the astrisk as follows:

HttpFilterRegistry.registerFilter("*", "com.companyname.monitor.http");

This results in an illegal argument exception. Is there any way to specify via this api to invoke my filter

for all requests, and if not is there a known work around? It works for a predefined list of fully qualified domain

names but we need to filter all requests.

Thanks,

No, filtering of all requests is not supported.  A domain name is required.

Mark,

For the particular product we are working on we need to filter ALL requests, are there any work arounds or is it possible to request support for wildcard argument to this call?

Thanks,

There is no work around for this.  A domain must be specified.
