Is there any known bugs with the 4.1 LowMemoryManager or EventLogger?

Testing on the 8700r simulator (4.1.0.206) using JDE 4.1.

My implementation for freeStaleObject() has code to put entries into the log when it is invoked.

On some test runs, it never gets invoked before an out of memory error occurs.  On other occasions, it appears to work (log messages appear).

Is there any know bugs in the LowMemoryManager or EventLogger (always using EventLogger.ERROR)?

Thanks,

Philippe

Are you only seeing the problem on that particular version?  Are you able to reproduce it on newer releases?  How are you created the out of memory condition?  If you are doing it very rapidly, the device may run out of memory before your LowMemoryManager is notified.
