how can toSOAPString() work when J2ME does not support SimpleDateFormat? Or did you use it with J2SE? Do you know of a workaround for J2ME?

welcome to the support forums.

if you use pure j2me you'll have to facilitate Calendar to do date formatting.
for examples look it up, like

The SimpleDateFormat that I used was RIM's version (net.rim.device.api.i18n.SimpleDateFormat).
