JDE + Web Services (basic question)

This is my problem:

I need connect my JDE app to a web service using the Blackberry's plain plan. How could i do this?

Thanks Mark for your post, it was very helpful. I have another question. I'm not partner of RIM then i can't connect through BIS, the WAP option is too expensive in my country and i can't connect through TCP stack. I think that my only option is use BES but i need a license of BlackBerry® Enterprise Server, is that true?. The question is: Does any "free" option? Because the BES's license is expensive for my customer target.

if your mobile connection is too expensive there is nothing you can do on the code side.
