I created a web service that works great when I'm using the simulator and MDS on my local machine. However, when I attempted to deploy to a device (8320) it keeps throwing a SaxParserException. It's not a code signing issue since I have that. Usually, when I received this error when using the simulator, it was because MDS wasn't running on my local machine. Am I supposed to have MDS running on the Enterprise Server? Is there something else I need installed on the device?
One other thing, the site is externally available on the Internet.
Thanks in advance for any help.

did you check the incoming reply in a debugger? one possible reason could be that you receive a html error page and the parser is not able to parse it.
I would also add that to "check the incoming reply" you can use httpt.responseDump()
and print out it as LabelField or someth'.
As I understood app works on simulator and does not on the real device.

Yeah, that's correct. It is working on the simulator. Also, one other little nugget... I found that it is working on a friend's BB (8830 World Edition). He is on a different network and not using it through a corporate network so I am suspecting not having MDS enabled might be the problem.
I'll try to figure out how to add that code. Although, I must admit that I basically just generating the code for the web service call using Netbeans. So, I'll have to actually look at the code now. :-)
