Java sdk support

Hi,

 

can anyone tell me upto which sdk version of java we can use in blackberry.

the newest versions should run with java 7, but if you want to be on the safe side use a java 6 sdk.

i am working with blackberry jde 7 and using jdk 6 but i am not able to access all collections present in jdk1.6, can u help me in this upto which version of sdk we can make use.

blackberry java os is based on j2me, which is in turn based on java 1.4 (or 1.3?)
in any case, you cannot use the collections api unless you implement it yourself.
basically: use vector and hashtable.
