Library that uses GregorianCalendar

I'm trying to develop my first BB app. I installed Eclipse and the BB plugin.

I want to use a library that makes use of the java.util.GregorianCalendar class.  This class (java.util.GregorianCalendar) doesn't exist in the Blackberry API.  Is there no way to use this library?  Is there a difference if I create a MIDlet vs using the BB plugin in Eclipse?

Re: Library that uses GregorianCalendar

Welcome.  Smiley Happy

I don't believe that GregorianCalendar is supported in J2ME devices.  I've done a quick Google and I can't find any code that will provide this functionality directly.  So I guess you are going to have to write what you need yourself using the Calendar class.

A Midlet would not give you access to this library.

You might find the tutorials a good place to start looking for information like this, there is one which describes the differences between RIMlets and MIDlets here:
