Listener for date and time changes aside from RealtimeClockLister?

Hi,

I there an alternative approach to listening to the change in the System date? My issue with RealtimeClockListener is that it always call the callback method every minute which isn't actually what I need. I simply just need my application to be aware of when the user changed the date and time in the settings. The reason being is that, my application will do some resource intensive task when the date and time is changed by the user. I don't like this to be executed every minute by using RealtimeClockLister.

Thanks,

Re: Listener for date and time changes aside from RealtimeClockLister?

as far as i know there is a global event for a date change, i don't know if it is triggered by a time change as well.

Re: Listener for date and time changes aside from RealtimeClockLister?

Hi.
It's been a while since this thread started.
I'm facing the same problem and the global event for date change is only triggered when the user changes the time/date. Not everyday at midnight.
Did you find an alternative to RealtimeClockListener?
Cheers.
