MDS Simulator "Not authorized to access"

I am trying to build a simple Midlet based soap client. I am using kSOAP2

I am using:

Blackberry Simulator 9000-4.6.0.150

JDE 4.7.0.41

MDS Simulator 4.1.2

Web service built upon kSOAP2 (better docs and simpler depolyment)

I am able to browse the web inside the simulator, but when I try to connect to my locally-deployed web service (http://127.0.0.1:8061/MobileSOAP/service), I can not seem to connect. The MDS simulator complains:

<2009-09-21 10:38:48.526 EDT>:[264]:<MDS-CS_MDS>:<DEBUG>:<LAYER = IPPP, 2100000a Not authorized to access 127.0.0.1:8061>

I am guessing this has something to do with site signatures, and other security things, much like

http://supportforums.blackberry.com/rim/board/message?board.id=BlackBerryEnterpriseSolution&message....

but that link assumes I have a BlackBerry Enterprise Serve, which I hope I do not have to deploy just to get a soap client working.

How do I get the MDS Simulator to allow requests to localhost?

Am I going to have more problems when I deploy this to interact with our production web servers?

Thanks

PS

In case you think my service is down, I have an Oracle installation on my machine which has it's own web service (http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex/), and I can use firefox to load the page and perform administrative tasks. But I can not use the BB Simulator's Browser to even load the page. Again, the MDS complains:

<2009-09-21 11:13:30.510 EDT>:[371]:<MDS-CS_MDS>:<DEBUG>:<LAYER = IPPP, 2100000a Not authorized to access 127.0.0.1:8080>

In case you care, my application shows

org.kxml.io.ParseException: unexpected: ParseEvent type=128 text="Not authorized to access 127.0.0.1:8061' @-1:-1

[ Edited ]

I spent an hour reviewing docs and forming my question only to find out the IP address is wrong AFTER I post the question!

I should have used my public IP address not localhost, nor 127.0.0.1
