Manifest Attribute midlet-name missing

Hi there

I've got a problem with downloading a JAR file to my BBs. Its a third party game jar. The error message is as follow:

  • invalid Manifest: Attribute midlet-name is missing

It doesn't work so far on a BB 8310 and a BB 9000. COD files, which are certified JAR files, seem to work. I guess it is depended on the restrictiveness of the BB software which is installed on the phone. Since on non Blackberry phones (Nokia, Sony Ericsson,..) it works.

I've looked into the manifest file of the JAR and the Midlet-Name attribute was there as requested from the BB phone.

thanks for any hints
