Minimizing BB Keyboard

Hi all,

Am using BB 9530 simulator to test my apps, and workig on 4.7 ver.

In my app  i  need to use textboxes to accept input. i used my custom textbox for this, and everything is ok. but when user enters data,

BB keyboard is opening and it is occuping the entire space of the screen hiding all the other fields below this textbox. i just try with this code to hide the keyboard,

        VirtualKeyboard virtual = this.getVirtualKeyboard();
        virtual.setVisibility(VirtualKeyboard.HIDE_FORCE);

now the keyboard is not appearing, am entering data using kwyboard of my system. But this is not possible with device, so  i want to show BBkeyboard to a certain height of teh screen, and on some user action (say Esc) it should hide.

we have HideKeyboard option in the default menu, i dont want to show that menu. Instead of that how can make this possible....

Thanks and Regards,
PraveenGoparaju.
