Multiple Menus

Hi, I am trying to create an app based on map field api.

The problem i have is thus, i require to have multiple menus available in one place.

i.e. dircetly under or over the map.

The type of menus im looking to emulate are standard windows menus.

e.g. in your typical pc browser: File, View, History, Help, ect...

Is this possible at all?

I have done some research and as far as i can see you can only have one menu per screen.

Is this true?

I am new to blackberry jde development and would appreciate any advice.

Re: Multiple Menus

you can have multiple menus - but not with the standard implementation.
you'll have to discard the standard menu and paint them all yourself, for example using a popupscreen.
the question came up several times, maybe you can find more information when you look it up.

it is a difficult task for somebody who is rather new to this environment though, better put it to the end of your feature list.
