New to developing

[ Edited ]

Hello...!

My name is Mohammad, well I'm still almost 20 years old, I'm now downloading Blackberry JDE software so I can try and develop an application for my University.

I'm an Architect Student, its my summer holiday, so I want to spend my time creating an app that helps my University and so ever student can use it.

I have Ideas, information and now going to start building my app.

As I said its my first time for Blackberry, Well I know a little bit about Java coding (I got 1st place in Robot programming in Saudi Arabia using Java language)

So if any one can give me some tips, Ideas and stuff so I could start my project easy I'm more than happy to hear your Ideas. Thank you again

and welcome to the support forums.

peter already gave you the "magic link", install eclipse+plugin from there and take a look at the samples. the developer guide pdf is also helpful for more advanced topics.
