No response from devsupport at rim.com

Hi,

I need new signing keys since I changed my computer. I wrote to the dev support to get those keys and they send it in a couple of days normally. I wrote 2 times to the support during the last month and I got not answer.

What can I do now to have new signing keys except buying new ones ?

Thanks for your answer.

Same here, only my keys didn't work at all. My earlier post wasn't answered so maybe if all 'victims' join this post we'll get an answer. Tried 3 times this month but no response from dev support. So I would also really like to know!

Re: No response from devsupport at rim.com

Same issue for me.

I filed an incident at the beginning of january (lost PIN + blocked keys). After several reminders, I received my PIN on January 18th but no new keys.

I have sent many reminders since and did not get any answer. This is making me crazy, I really need these keys.

At least RIM should tell us what's going on ?

I agree. But they didn't seem to care since they didn't respond to this post...

Re: No response from devsupport at rim.com

I have opened a new thread in 'testing and deployment' as it may be a better place to be viewed by the right people at RIM.

Re: No response from devsupport at rim.com

I don't recommend double posting your questions. Yes, I understand you're frustrated, I would be too.

You might follow this process:

I found this for you to read.

It contains this paragraph:

Note: Typically, keys are sent via email within 48 hours of submitting the necessary forms, but occasionally the process can take up to 10 business days. If you haven’t received your keys within 10 business days of submitting the registration form, contact BlackBerry support at 1-877-255-2377.

Good luck, I hope you all get it straightened out.

Re: No response from devsupport at rim.com

Thanks, but I know that page. I already had my keys a year ago but I need new ones because I can't register them on my new computer.

And I don't want to buy new ones. I may be forced to buy new ones but I just want a response from them before.

Re: No response from devsupport at rim.com

Did you know that you can simply copy the old keys to the new computer?

Copy the files sigtool.* from the BIN directory of one of your installations, and copy them to same directory on the new machine.

Re: No response from devsupport at rim.com

Thank you J Sanders ! I have been looking for days for a phone number, without success. I gave a call this afternoon and I got a mail reply tonight.

Apparently they got a huge amount of requests by the last months.

Normally I should receive my keys soon, that's great !
