Not Working-Different transports for Network Connectivity

[ Edited ]

When there is no Wi-fi connectivity available, the app prints my custom  message "Please check network coverage.",

in spite of the active Mobile Network also available on the device This should not be the case.

The Blackberry device must check for all available connections.

Following is the Code snippet

//if( CoverageInfo.isOutOfCoverage())
extension = ";deviceside=false";
else if(CoverageInfo.isCoverageSufficient(CoverageInfo.COVERAGE_DIRECT,RadioInfo.WAF_WLAN, false)){
extension = ";interface=wifi";
else if(CoverageInfo.isCoverageSufficient(CoverageInfo.COVERAGE_DIRECT)){
extension = ";deviceside=true";

The Blackberry Curve : 8320

I have set the APN, User Name and Pasword according to my Carrier/Network Provider in the device under Options->Advanced Options->TCP.

Also, the Services Status under Manage Connections shows the following

1. Blackberry Internet Service: Connection-Wi-Fi

2. An active Mobile Network

3. An active Wi-fi Network

Please help me figure out a solution.
