OS 6.0 (Torch) Browser causes Simulator to fail

To help our users download applications, we typically provide a standard Web page with a button, which is effectively a download link.  A simple example is as follows:

<p>
<form action="install/App.jad" method="post">
<input type="submit" value="App">
<br>Use this button to install the App.
</form>
</p>

This actually works on the device but kills the Simulator (the standard 'do you wish to report...' Dialog comes up reporting a problem in fledge.

The interesting thing is if I change the post to get as shown below, it works.

<p>
<form action="install/App.jad" method="get">
<input type="submit" value="App">
<br>Use this button to install the App.
</form>
</p>

Other, more standard forms that actually post some data seem to work fine.

Anyone else seem anything similar?

Tested in both the Simulator that comes with the JDE, and the downloaded one (6.0.0.141).

Re: OS 6.0 (Torch) Browser causes Simulator to fail

I was able to reproduce this one as well.  Thanks for reporting it.

This will be fixed in a future BlackBerry Torch Simulator release.
