PDP contexts same APN and different IPs?

We are seeing that BB devices stablish many different PDP contexts to different APNs and thus with different IP addresses, which according to my understanding is logic. We are also seeing PDPs to same APN and same IP address, which should be a secondary PDP context.

However, what I am not understanding is that we are seeing PDPs to same APN but with different IP address. The RadioStatusListener class returns a series of "Active" PDPs, where we retrieve the same APN name but different IP addresses. We are a bit confused on how to interpret this: if it is a secondary PDP context, in principle, there is not need of a different IP address, so should that be considered as another primary PDP context? Given that two different IP addresses share the same APN, how this works in practice? certain apps/services traffic would be routed through one or another?

Looking forward to your answers,

Thanks in advance,
