Packaging MIDlet, RIMlet together?

Hi

I'd like to package a MIDlet and a RIMlet together so that my users will only have to download one file. Ideally, I'd like to have the RIMlet startup on auto start and the MIDlet started by the user. I'm familiar with 'alternate entry points', but I can't seem to figure out how to get the MIDlet and RIMlet to get packaged together in one COD. Is this possible? It seems that the 'Project type' (i.e. MIDlet, CLDC) is on a per-project basis, which would seem to preclude packaging two different project types into the same COD. Any advice would be appreciated.Thank you.

Re: Packaging MIDlet, RIMlet together?

It is not possible to have these two types of applications packaged within the same cod file.

However, you could reference the two different cod files for both applications in the same ALX file and load both at the same time.  This means the user could load both in a single step.

Re: Packaging MIDlet, RIMlet together?

Can we reference the two cod files in the same JAD file as well?

You can, however you will only have 1 entry under Options, Advanced Options, Applications.
