Paypal Integration for blackberry

Hello Friends,

 

I am working on a blackberry project where we want to integrate paypal for donation purpose.. I searched paypal mpl library at x.commerce web site and cant fint any library for blackberry.. Can anyone tell me whether paypal withdraw its support for blackberry paypal integration or not..

 

If its not,guide me the way to get paypal jar file and the steps for integration.. This is urgent issue..

You can do this:

- Send the user to the paypal page and there pay.

You can't integrate paypal into the app.

 

But, paypal has support for payments by SMS if the phone number is linked. So, you could theoretically have the app send an SMS to do the payment.

 

However, I think linking to the web page would be a heck of a lot more practical.

Thanks for all your replies. So paypal cant integrate with our application. Can anyone provide me any related information for this.. Because my client asked me the evidence..

I don't agree with the idea that Paypal cannot be integrated to BB aps.

 

They have a web service, correct? You can write your own client and access them this way.

 

It's a SMOP.

My suggestiuon would be to look at the web API's - there are Java examples. Unfortunately, the "samples" code uses JavaSE, so you'll have to craft the client code to use the BB Java API's.

 

There is a SOAP API in the Adaptive Payments API - you should able to use the Sun web services toolkit to generate your client stubs.

 

There is also a "sandbox" server environment for testing.
