Player from remote source?

Hi,

I am using a Player on my App to play some music. I am using Eclipse to develop it. So far I have imported the mp3 file into the App's resources and can play the music using this code:-

try {
Class cl = Class.forName("FurtherRemixedApp");
InputStream is = cl.getResourceAsStream("/mainaudio.mp3");

player = javax.microedition.media.Manager.createPlayer( is, "audio/mpeg" );
player.realize();

volumeControl = getVolumeControl(player);

if (volumeControl != null)
volumeControl.setLevel(100);

player.prefetch();
player.start();
} catch (Exception e) {
}

 But now I need to play the mp3's from a website. I have tried something like:-

player = javax.microedition.media.Manager.createPlayer("http://www.furtherremixed.org/audio/android/sn.mp3;deviceside=true");

 But I get no sound and I guess the player doesn't start as I get errors.

I have been searching and reading for ages but have found no solutions. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Player from remote source?

OK, I found the problem. The website had .htaccess script to force mp3's to be downloaded rather than played. I tried the audio on another website and it works OK now.
