PopScreen Directions

Hi,

In my PopScreen Class:

private static final int DEFAULT_ORIENTATION = Display.DIRECTION_NORTH; //

public PopScreen() {

super(new VerticalFieldManager());

/***anti-screen shake****/

Ui.getUiEngineInstance().setAcceptableDirections( DEFAULT_ORIENTATION );//

add(sliderField);

}

I want to forbid the screen direction change,But It can't work in os 6.0!?

someone help me?

thanks .

Re: PopScreen Directions

I wasn't able to reproduce this. What BlackBerry Smartphone model and BlackBerry device software version are you testing on? You can find this under Options, About on the BlackBerry Smartphone.

In both 9500 and 9800 and the device software version is 6.0.0.396.The problem is :it can forbid the screen shake in a MainScreen but not a PopupScreen,why?

Re: PopScreen Directions

I tried this on a 9800 also running 6.0.0.396 and wasn't able to reproduce it. From where are you pushing the PopupScreen onto the display stack? Can you provide a larger code snippet?

Thank you for what you have done.I have to say that you are such a serious and good man.

If you can't reproduce by following way then I will accept this as solved,then do it myself.

Ui.getUiEngine().pushGlobalScreen(popScreen, 10, UiApplication.GLOBAL_SHOW_LOWER);
//I mean push the popScreen as a global screen in order to see if it can be anti-screen shake.
thank you  in advance!
