Problem in using NumericTextFilter.ALLOW_DECIMAL in JDE 4.7

hi,

i have written code for decimal input as

public NumericTextFilter numFilter = new NumericTextFilter(NumericTextFilter.ALLOW_DECIMAL);

private AutoTextEditField test= new AutoTextEditField("","",8,BasicEditField.NO_NEWLINE|Field.FIELD_HCENTER );

test.setFilter(numFilter );

here my problem is while using the virtualKeyboard in Strom i m not able to type "1" from textpad and when i click on 1 then input is shown as "." (DECIMAL)

and when i m tilt blackberry in LandScape mode then i m getting "1" and "." at different place and i m able to type .

is there some issuse in blackberry os. 4.7.0.75 for this issuse.

can anyone know what is the issuse.

Regard,

Neev

Re: Problem in using NumericTextFilter.ALLOW_DECIMAL in JDE 4.7

This is a known bug in the 4.7 release. It is fixed in a later release - I believe in 4.7.0.86.

The only work around is to rotate the phone to get the landscape view. The keyboard works correctly in this view.
