Content-Type: application/xml; charset=UTF-8
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<!DOCTYPE pap PUBLIC "-//WAPFORUM//DTD PAP 1.0//EN">
<pap>
<push-message push-id="$(pushid)"
        source-reference="$(username)"
        deliver-before-timestamp="2020-12-31T23:59:59Z">

<!--

Optional attribute used for notifications.  Only use if the content provider
has been setup to receive notifications during the setup on the BIS.

        ppg-notify-requested-to="$(notifyURL)"
-->

<address address-value="$(pin)"/>
<quality-of-service delivery-method="$(deliveryMethod)"/>
</push-message>
</pap>
--$(boundary)
$(headers)

$(content)
--$(boundary)--

I change all the parameters $() for the respective, when I send the message, arrive well, but, the alert that arrive the messange, not is activated.

Re: Problem whit Push Api

I'm really not sure what you're asking here. Are you saying that the notify URL isn't being triggered when the data gets to the device?

If you're using the BlackBerry Push API's then you must be a ISV Partner and therefore get support directly from RIM. Have you asked them?

Are you trying to push to BES users?  If so, you don't need to use the BlackBerry Push API's - you can just push internally to the BES and it will deliver to users.

Perhaps if you clarify what you're looking for.

Re: Problem whit Push Api

Thank for answer very fast, but.

if and requested assistance from RIM, but your reply is slow.

I intented to do is send X-Rim-Push-Type with the push API, but not really like.

My boss says he has to do with the configuration of BIS and BES, but I really do not know.

Not if you can help me with it.

Re: Problem whit Push Api

Still not sure what you're asking. What is it you're trying to do? Why don't you tell me what you're trying to do and I'll do what I can to help.

The X-RIM-Push-Type parameter is a component of BES push - is not supported by the BlackBerry Push API's. Web Signals and thePush API's are for pushing to consumer devices (or devcies that are not on your BES).

Ok, no problem, RIM finally answer my query, but thanks anyway for answering.
