Problem with Tree Field setExpanded

In my app there is a tree field with root node and 2 child nodes. One is expanded and other is leaf node.

    --Child Node 1

    --Child Node 2 (Expanded)

--Child NODE 1 (child of child node 2 )

When i tried from bottom (Child NODE 1) , to setExpanded API tovalue false, it works fine for all child nodes except Main

and it gives me illegal Argument exception . I dnt know whts happening there.

Please guide me ....m i doing sumthing wrong here....

Re: Problem with Tree Field setExpanded

I also had this problem. I was able to work around this by deleting all of the elements from the tree, re-adding them, then setting expanded to true or false. Kinda like fixing a broken arm with duct tape, but it avoided the Illegal Argument Exception. In my case I was trying to expand all and collapse all. I can post some code if you still need help.
