it returns false irrespective of its lock or unlocked

Finally i have fixed the issue with following 

if (Backlight.isEnabled() == false)

 May not be the best way,but serving my purpose as of now 

I have one more thing to ask,suppose my app starts which i am starting as a pushglobal screen,now i close th app and it goes to background,now when lock it detected,it starts again,i am making an instance of MyScreen again and pushing as a globalscreen,but i think its not the right way.As the app will be in background,how to bring it to foreground
