Pull request notification

 

 

Hi,

        I have alternate entry point applcation. in which background thread will start when device is switched on. and when i tap on ui application icon it will launch the application . up to here every thing is fine. 

but when i am try  get preference object  of ui application in background thread that time  i am getting the runtime exception

 "application already running in this process"

how to solve this error?

 

 i have some helper class which is defined in ui application and i want to use in background thread how can i do that??

and i want to get preference object value from ui applcation how can i access??

please share idea to slove this problem..

i would suggest to use runtimestore for inter process communication.

another option would be global events.

hey simon thanks for replay i have one question how can get the preference object value which is alreay stored in the persistant store . and that  persistant object i want fetch from background process. can u give hint or example how cani do this using global events.

persistant objects can be accessed from everywhere, so you can access it from the background process as well.
