Re: Push Registry - J2ME Polish

[ Edited ]

This problem is caused because a Blackberry application created with J2ME Polish is not a MIDlet, despite what your source might say. The Polish build process turns your 'MIDlet' into a UIApplication (see http://www.j2mepolish.org/cms/leftsection/documentation/platforms/blackberry.html#blackberry-gui).

The PushRegistry as such does not recognise your application as a MIDlet, so won't register it.

Basically, you cannot use the PushRegistry and a J2ME Polish built application with Polish as it stands.

Re: Push Registry - J2ME Polish

I am also facing this problem. I dont think this problem is related to only Blackberry applications. I am developing a simple mobile application using j2me polish for symbian based mobiles and getting the same problem.
