Resume call

Hi all.

Is there a way to programmatically resume a call ?

I am implementing PhoneListener.

The scenario is:

1) The user calls person A.

2) Person A answers

3) The user calls person B (call with A is automatically put on hold)
4) Person B answers

5) The user finishes his call with person B

But the call with person A is not resumed (it has to be done through the menu)  Smiley Sad

I would like to resume the call with person A.

Re: Resume call

There are no APIs that allow you to do this directly.  You could use the event injector APIs to inject trackball events to select the option from the menu.

Re: Resume call

I have done a little bit of research that confirm your claim, (although I did use one commercial application that has done something similar).

Injection is a pretty unreliable way of doing so, but I will certanly try to use it.

Btw, while at the 'injection technique'. How can I be sure that I will select the right option from the menu, since I cannot be sure no one else has added a menu entry to the VoiceApp's menu?

Thanks.

Re: Resume call

There is no way to guarantee you have selected the desired menu item when using event injection.
