Running J2ME Application in Blackberry 4. 7 JDE

I have written an application using CLDC1.1 , Midp 2.0 In Java(TM) ME Platform SDK 3.0 emulator. In this project I have used scoket programming (Generic connection framework).

Here is the sample code for connection to server

socketConnection = (SocketConnection) Connector.open(socket://+ serverIp +":"+ serverPort);

inputStream = socketConnection.openInputStream();

outputStream = socketConnection.openOutputStream();

//Output stream deligated to Sender Object to send the command

sender = new Sender(outputStream);

This code is working fine in Java(TM) ME Platform SDK 3.0 emulator, but when I tried to run the same using BlackBerry JDE 4.7.0, connection is not establishing to the server.

No error or exception came while running in BlackBerry JDE 4.7.0

Please suggest me in this regard.

Thanks in advance

On the Blackberry platform, you need to determine which transport you are using, and append the appropriate parameters to your URL.

This ground is covered hundreds of times on the forum. Also see the Peter Strange sticky thread at the top of the forum.
