SDCard corruption

We have an application that uses the SDCard for saving and reading files very frequently. We noticed lately that the SDCard on a couple of devices is getting corrupted, where some files got overwritten by the content from other files.

Did any one noticed similar problems?

Any suggestions on how to find out what is going on?

Thanks

Re: SDCard corruption

You could add some logging within your application to record what is being saved.  This should help determine what action(s) trigger this problem.

Re: SDCard corruption

First, this happened after using our app for months and only on a couple of devices.

Otherwise the writing part is doing what is supposed to do, and what is being saved is known and it is the same as when the problem is not there.

Is this problem a typical one? Does the SDCard get bad after long heavy usage? Did anyone experience similar problem?

Re: SDCard corruption

I haven't heard any reports of this before.
