Send application to the background

 

Hi,

 

I'm trying to find API for sending application to the background, for example:

i would like to launch the browser but to keep my application in the foreground untill the usr

press on a button, is it possible?

if you want to keep your app in the foreground you should try to find a way to keep your app in the foreground.
you could start with requestForeground and onExposed.

Hello,

 

I don't want to keep my application in the foreground i just want it to launch, for example, the browser

and keep the browser in the background untill, for example, the user press on a button in my app. GUI

you can not control the behaviour of the browser. but where is the difference for you? the browser is in the background anyhow (as it is always running), if you call it with an URL it requests foreground. if you request foreground then the browser is in the background, your app in the foreground. you won't be able to work around a little flicker.
