Re: Signing Server - Scheduled Downtime for Upgrades

Hi Martin

We are still experiencing the same "Error connecting to web signer from proxy" for RCR, RBB and RRT.

"

We managed to sign the app after multiple tries, only to get this error message on the device - "Error starting gp: Module gp attempts to access a secure API"

Is there a resolution to this issue planned?

Re: Signing Server - Scheduled Downtime for Upgrades

I am still getting the issue with code signing. Unable to sign any of the RBB, RCR & RTT. Giving the same error message that Server May be unavailable, please try again. Can anyone one let me know until when these issues will be resolved ...?

Re: Signing Server - Scheduled Downtime for Upgrades

@cellcity: You will normally see that error if you're signing attempts fail and you keep hitting the cancel/request button on the SignatureTool UI. The sigtool may say it was a success, but it didn't successfully sign all CODs, and so you get thee runtime error on the device. Its better to let the sigtool reset by closing and reopening between signing attempts if you are not rebuilding the CODs between each attempt.

[ Edited ]

I'm seeing this as well.  Happened a little yesterday, but is persistent now.  I'm using the 4.6 JDE and its signing tool.  Someday I'll move to Eclipse - honest.

Edit: As of 11:43 EST it's now working.  A little slower than usual, but all signing accomplished.

Re: Signing Server - Scheduled Downtime for Upgrades

works for me since the update last night but it is very slow.  I would have thought the upgrade would be faster.

Re: Signing Server - Scheduled Downtime for Upgrades

Signing is back online again, although a bit slow right now as the servers catch up.  Speed looks to be improving by the minute.

Excellent - much better now. Hopefully it can keep up like this from now on...
