Signing cod, certificates and other stuff

I'm developping an application that needs to be  in the trusted domain (acessing http, local content, and the GPS). Though I'm not using the RIM api (pure J2ME, CLDC 1.1 MIDP 2.0), the application will be deployed mostly on blackberry handhelds (Curve 8300).

As I understood, in order for the application to access the restricted resources, I have to sign it (sign the cod file) and this requires me to get a certificate from RIM.

Now I have a few questions about that :

-How are RIM's certificates delivered, and  are they bound to some restrictions ?

-How much does it cost to get a certificate ?

thanks !

Re: Signing cod, certificates and other stuff

Last time I checked, $20, and they are delivered via three emails.

There are restrictions, you agree to these when you apply. For example, the keys are not transferrable, etc.
