When running the 9530 simulator and simulating a GSM type network I anyhow get a network type of CDMA. Have I missunderstood something?
My code is:
boolean cdma = (RadioInfo.getNetworkType() == RadioInfo.NETWORK_CDMA);
In the simulator under simulate, Network PropertiesI simulate a GSM netowrk.
The BlackBerry shows:
Why does the cdma variable in the code get the value true? I want to simulate a GSM network.

9530 is a CDMA BlackBerry (that is capable of GSM). Try a 9500 (a GSM only BlackBerry) simulator to see if cdma returns false. If it still returns true then post it in the Issue Tracker else it should be fixed.

In the 9500 it works fine, but I was of the believe that I could get the 9530 into GSM mode as well. Also, from what I see n the sreen I actually manage, but not from what the network type shows. I guess I just have to stick with 9500.
