Socket and HTTP Connection

Hi,

I tried developing a small application, which has both mode of connections, socket connection and http connection.

If i have already connected using socket connection and later if i try to post data using http it throws Malformed request. If i don't connect to server using socket and try to establish same http connection it works.

Do i need to do add any code piece where the device can connect in both modes at the same time?

I am using BB 8800 device for testing. Version 4.2.168(Platform 2.3.0.54).

Note: Same Code works perfectly on Simulator 8800 and the JDE 4.2.1.

Thank you.

Re: Socket and HTTP Connection

Are you creating 2 separate connections, or are you trying to reuse one connection in both modes?  The former should work.

Re: Socket and HTTP Connection

Yes, I have two separate class for each type of connection, but still it is a problem. Now i am disconnecting one connection and connection the other as a temporoary solution.

If i create multiple connections of each class that works fine.

Thank you.
