Starting a Browser Session for Storm 2 Simulator

Hi everyone,

I am currently launching a Browser Session from my application with the following code:

BrowserSession visit;

visit = Browser.getDefaultSession();
visit.displayPage(loginUrl);

For all of the 4.7 devices as well as all of the 5.0 devices (with the exception of the Storm 2), the Browser will correctly resolve the given URL. I am using the simulator, by the way.

With the Storm 2, I receive the following error after waiting a minute or two for the page to resolve:

"Unable to find the requested server"

Does anyone know why this is happening?

Thanks!

Re: Starting a Browser Session for Storm 2 Simulator

So which Browser is the default Browser?  Perhaps you are starting the WiFi Browser and have not enabled WiFi yet.

Can you get to your URL from the Browser that is started if you do it manually?

Re: Starting a Browser Session for Storm 2 Simulator

Thanks for your help, your post triggered me to realize that you can open a browser with a specified connection (say, BES). I did not know this before.

I tried opening the browser with BES, and it worked!

Thanks for your help.
