Starting my application from within a mail

Is it possible to start my application from a link within an email? Or is it possible to listen for the opening of an email in a special format and the start the application?

 

My claim is have my application on the BlackBerry in which the user can approve or reject a workflow. And to not have the user start the application from time to time I want to send the user an email and let him start the application from within this email.

You can use a StringPattern to identify specific strings of text.  Refer this article:

You can also listen for incoming email messages using the FolderListener interface and take the required action when a specific message arrives.  Here are a couple of examples that make use of a FolderListener:
