Strategies for detecting different connection paths

I am trying to automatically figure out whether the user should connect to a TCP/IP resource over WiFi or the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.

I figured out how to detect whether WiFi is available on the device (RadioInfo.areWAFsSupported(RadioInfo.WAF_WLAN)), but how do I detect whether the device is connected via the BlackBerry Enterprise Server?

Thanks

Re: Strategies for detecting different connection paths

Take a look in to the class CoverageInfo .. Also go thru the sticky thread of peter_strange at the top of the forum which will get you to the right path in blackberry programming, based on networks...

Cheers..

Re: Strategies for detecting different connection paths

Different possible ways to detect BES for different JDE versions are mentioned in this thread: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/rim/board/message?board.id=java_dev&thread.id=30008

Hope this helps
